• Patchable keyboard that provides more control over Pitch, LFO, Waveshape and Timber;
• Amplified Output minijack socket with volume control, connected inline with small internal speaker;
• Patchable minijack input/output socket;
• LED lightnig for patch matrix and LFO rate;

NONDESTRUCTIVE KASSETA STORY
Early 2018 I found out about generative music made with modular synthesizers, but they turned out to be too expensive for me. I came across Kastle synthesizer by Bastl-instruments and was really excited because it was open source.

So I’ve spent 3 months researching schematics, Arduino basics, learning how to solder. Then I had a one week vacation I’ve spent building my own Bastl Kastle. And eventually, it worked.
But it had no case and soon broke. I had to look for a good
portable case.

Once I saw people throwing old VHS tapes and it was like Bingo!!! A sturdy case, easy to modify and disassemble.
Then I've decided to redesign initial schematics and to use the benefits of the new case. Redesigning was slow because I'm not that experienced in electric engineering.

Luckily in July, I've met Egor who is a rocket engineer and we've decided to give it a try and make a VHS tape synthesizer.

Few days later a designer friend of mine Ilnaz joined our team and added cool visual design to our Kasseta project, Including bad-ass logo and this very website.

Then we came across this "Synthposium" fest and expo just two weeks before it happened. So we had to speed up a little.

We were fast enough to make two prototypes to show them publicly on Synthposium.
WE ARE NONDESTRUCTIVE IN SAVING COOL THINGS FROM BEING THROWN AWAY.
